To you and I (3)

The shape

It’s hard to describe

Within me, there’s lots of stuff

Defrosting, rehydrating, becoming amenable, receptive to change, transforming and voluptuous

The stuff is like what it’s like due to years and years of hard work

Burials, intentional enactments of archival, conscious decisions to neglect; arguably

You

And I.

To focus on you, to focus on us,

Voice, vocalized and heard,

and kept to ourselves;

Love, curated, in safekeeping, exhibitioned for myself and only ourselves,

and accessible to others, free flowing, derived from an internal void with no bounds;

Trauma, existent in ways similar to love,

but seen a little differently;

We can feel them, can’t we?

.

Sometimes hard, sometimes softer,

Sometimes stable, sometimes expanding,

Lumps and liquids of various sizes,

textures, shapes, viscosities, and

relationships with everything else inside of us – everything else that constitutes our chemical make-up.

Can you feel them?
